Where The Hunger Games is a tightly-plotted, fast-paced dystopian thriller heaped with romance and horror, this book is. I get totally immersed, constantly trying to figure it all out. His feelings for Katniss will be revealed and at the same time be exploited during the games. That's why I fell in love with him. The sight of him waiting there brings on a smile. The one that survived despite the Capitol's plans.
Not my favourite series but it was still pretty good and is being made into a movie series. But Prim begged so hard, cried even, I had to let him stay. Bet you didn't see this coming. He's frikkin hotter than the guy playing Peeta! The one thing I didn't like about this book is the part where Katniss finds out she has to go back to the Hunger Games. I actually know more and more people from the movie now! This makes for an exhilarating narrative and a future we can fear and believe in, but it also allows us to see the similarities between Katniss's world and ours.
